We have resolved the situation with the customer. Sub-standard business practices and illegal acts were committed. I'm severely disappointed in the conduct of this company and will not do business with them again as soon as the title is received and my compensation comes through. I have spent countless hours in the phone trying to resolve things between them, my loan provider, and legal aids to see what can happen to help me during the process. I've been going back and forth with them for almost 2 months now and they have finally agree to pay the car loan until title is received but that does not fix the headaches and constant worrying of if they were going to follow through. They did not want to put in the leg work to actually make it happen so I had to deal with the consequences. (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)ħ months is more than ample time to request and receive a duplicate title. We have been applying and applied again for another duplicate title for this vehicle to get this vehicle titled and registered.
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are currently waiting on a duplicate title from the DMV because we have had issues getting ahold of the previous customer to get a copy of the title.
